What are Tithings and Offerings?
Tithes are a regular, mandated contribution of 10% of one's income, considered the first priority of giving, while offerings are additional, voluntary gifts given beyond the tithe to support various causes. Both are forms of financial support for a church or ministry, with the primary purpose of supporting the church's operations and expressing generosity.
